In partnership with DurhamCares, our mission partner Jubilee Home is hosting the second annual Better Together: Stories event at the Carolina Theatre. This year’s event will feature stories of bravery and resilience from our folks who are defined by their strengths and not their weaknesses.

Our goal is to provide 18 baskets for Arise and 18 baskets for Jubilee. Both of these organizations provide re-entry services for folks transitioning out of the carceral system. We are collecting coats and warm items for refugees resettling in Durham. We will collect during worship on Sundays on Oct 6, 13 and 20. Please place any donations on the table in the back as you enter worship. World Relief will graciously accept any coats of any size, but has shared preferred sizes as a guide.
