We hope to cultivate a community of belonging by offering regular opportunities to worship, have fun, grow, and serve together.
Here you’ll find dates and details for weekly worship, monthly potluck, monthly kids and youth events, and home group gatherings. You’ll also find ways to serve (like Jubilee Home dinners) and ways to have fun together (like Fall Party).
Young(ish) Adult Retreat
Our annual retreat will be back at Lake Norman this year! Cost is $100 for one person or $175 per couple. Email elizabeth@allgather.org with questions.
Virtual Bible Study
Join us for Virtual Bible Study on Tuesday evenings from 7:30-8:30pm on Zoom. This study group or small group is facilitated by Curt and explores Scripture through the upcoming sermon passage. The Gathering Church is a welcoming, nondenominational church that meets downtown Durham, North Carolina and draws people from across the Triangle.

Jubilee Home works with men in the Durham community to create a place that bridges the gap between incarceration and full independence. We are looking for a few folks to sign up to prepare and eat a meal with the men on the last Tuesday of the month.

Youth Fishing
A few of our young adults have volunteered to take the GC Youth (6th-12th graders) fishing. If you’ve fished a million times, or never seen a fishing pole, they will teach you! Lunch, transportation, and fishing equipment included. RSVP with Elizabeth.
Parent Night Out
Parents of GC babies, pre-k, elementary, and youth are invited to attend a Parent Night Out! Drop children off at Hope Valley Baptist (6900 Garrett Road). The Gathering Church is a welcoming, non-denominational church that worships in downtown Durham, NC and welcomes folks from across the Triangle.
Reality Ministries Dinner
We are partnering with Reality and Trinity Ave Pres Church to make a monthly meal for a Monday night Reality group.

Join The Gathering Church and help package meals to support nutrition, education and health for children and families facing hunger at this Rise Against Hunger event. Blessing of the Books Sunday
To ring in the new school year, we invite everyone to bring one item to be blessed during the service. We will also promote our rising kindergarteners to GC Kids and our rising 6th graders to GC Youth. Plus, celebrate with potluck after worship.

GC Youth Summer Camp
We are partnering with Oak Church and Ekklesia Church for a summer camp where students (rising 6th - 12th grade) are given the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, participate in fun recreational activities (paintball, archery, lake tubing, kayaking, & more!), and engage in spiritual practices.
