Anna Sircar and Peyton Crump Lead Art Class at Jubilee Home

This summer, two GC artists led an art class for residents at Jubilee Home. One of our four mission partners, Jubilee Home works with men in the Durham community to create a place that bridges the gap between incarceration and full independence.

Peyton Crump and Anna Sircar facilitated an art workshop with residents over the summer and encouraged everyone to create art that represents a part of their journey at Jubilee Home. The class created both group and individual art pieces, including what you can see below.

We believe that art and creativity are liberating and empowering ways for folks to reclaim their giftedness and belovedness. We are grateful for the folks from Jubilee Home who shared their art with us, and for Peyton and Anna’s leadership in organizing the art class.
