Churchwide Retreat

April 17 - 19 @ Camp Chestnut Ridge

Join us for an all ages, church wide retreat in the spring of 2026 at Camp Chestnut Ridge in Efland, NC. Connect with each other and be present to God during this restorative weekend. Eat s’mores by the campfire, walk on a hiking trail, play volleyball or basketball with friends, and worship with us by the lake.

We will have tent camping and shared cabin lodging options, as well as the option to join us on Saturday or for Sunday morning worship. See details below.

  • Tent Camping: $50/person, $150/family max

    Shared Cabins: $100/person, $300/family max

    • This cost includes lodging, dining (Fri dinner - Sunday breakfast), and activities!

    • Register by January 11 for a guaranteed overnight spot! Register online.

    Saturday Only: $25/person, $75/family max

    • This cost includes lunch and dinner on Saturday, plus all activities!

    • Register by March 5 for a guaranteed Saturday spot! Register online.

  • We have two lodging options available, tent camping or shared cabins.

    Tent Camping: Bring your own camping gear and camp in a field alongside other GC folks! Bathrooms are a short walk.

    Shared Cabins: Stay in a shared cabin with other GC folks. These are not private per family. Cabins include AC, heat and bathrooms.

  • Overnight participation includes meals from Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast. Saturday participation includes lunch and dinner. Accommodations are available for folks with allergies.

    Families can decide to cook their own food, but we do not have access to a kitchen and cannot offer a discount for folks who choose to prepare their own food.

  • We will have a mix of worship, planned activities and free time. Check back soon for a full schedule!

  • Sunday, April 19 at 10am

    Anyone is invited to attend our outdoor worship service at Camp Chestnut Ridge’s lakeside chapel at 10am on Sunday, April 19. There is no registration or cost required to attend! this will be our only worship offering on Sunday, April 19.
