Advent at GC

Each year, The Gathering Church produces a communal advent devotional with original artwork and writing by GC folks. We have designed this Advent devotional to help you prepare for the celebration of God’s arrival and the return of Jesus Christ for the renewal of all things. Each week will have its own section with a theme, and each day, except Sunday, will include a Scripture passage and a reflection created by one of our own Gathering Church folks. This year’s theme is “Dreaming with God.” You can access daily entries beginning Monday, December 1!

Memory Verse

Weekly Practices

  • Keep a “generosity” journal this week. Each day, notice and write down where you’ve given, received, or witnessed generosity.

  • At the beginning of the week, set aside an amount of money or time and ask God to guide you in how to use it.
