People who are not Christians often seem to be more dedicated to a meaningful life than those who are Christians.

People who are not Christians often seem to be more dedicated to a meaningful life than those who are Christians.

Listen to some of the most popular podcasts and you may think that same thing.

With energy and insight those who have discarded church are pursuing “the best version of themselves.” Like Brian Kopelman, a busy TV and movie producer who still finds time to host The Moment, which is usually an interview with a creative person who had to overcome some difficult moment of failure or challenge to become a better and more creative person.

Why is it not obvious that Jesus is the only source for the most meaningful life?

Do we still believe that?

This Sunday at the Gathering Church we will look at what Jesus has done to give us a life that is Elevated to the level of his incredible work of salvation. We continue in the message series, Confidence in God from Romans 8:28-39 with an emphasis on verses 33-34.

You may know what Jesus did for you by dying on the cross but have you ever considered what Jesus is doing for you right now? Like today?

Are you your worst critic?

Are there things that drag your life down?

How can we live in the reality of what Jesus has done and is doing?

We don’t want to be the last ones to know what God had in mind for our lives.

And mothers, make this a special day with your family.

I hope to see you.
