Learning to be loved
Perhaps that phrase best summarizes what it means to be a Christian.
Yet, it is easy to substitute all sorts of other purposes for our lives.
Learning to please God.
Learning to be good.
Learning to be a success.
Learning to be fulfilled.
All of which only have a chance when we yield ourselves to love.
This Sunday at the Gathering Church we look at the subject of Salvation, an absolutely irrelevant subject unless we understand our need, unless we understand the incredible purpose and life that God has called us to experience.
How is it possible to grow our experience of being ‘saved’ by God through Jesus Christ?
Why were the first followers of Jesus identified by love, joy, and the power to overcome life’s obstacles?
