Jesus Christ, Lord and King

For to me, to live is Christ . . . . Philippians 1:21

What would inspire a person to summarize their life by saying that it was all about Christ?

What was so special about who Jesus was and what he did that convinced his followers that he was the only hope for the world?

This Sunday at the Gathering Church we look at the person and work of Jesus Christ, the subject that makes Christianity “Christian.”   Did he really think that he was divine or was that a later interpretation by those who never knew him?

Is Jesus more than an inspiring historical figure?

Does he still change lives today as he did in those three years of active work?

If so, how is it possible for us to grow our capacity to experience the love and power of Jesus  Christ?
