Competition and Comparison

Competition and Comparison

This Sunday at the Gathering Church, Mitch Mason, Chaplain for the UNC Football team, will speak about “Joy in a Competitive World.”

As a staff member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Mitch provides spiritual leadership for the coaches and players leading Bible studies, conducting chapel services, and counseling and participating in all team activities. A former college player and coach himself, Mitch is well acquainted with the pressures and challenges of an intensely competitive environment.

The GatheringChurch is continuing the Serious Joy message series and 40-Day Experiment in Joy.  How is it possible to increase our capacity to experience joy in a world that forces constant comparison and evaluation?

Mitch Mason is well equipped to teach about the real basis of joy.  His life is tested daily in these issues.
